A leg stump is one of the three stumps that form the wicket in cricket, positioned on the side of the batsman’s body. It is located next to the batsman’s legs, and when a bowler delivers the ball, it is one of the possible points where the ball can hit to dismiss the batsman. The stumps help determine whether a delivery is legal and whether the batsman is out.
